Summer time 2012

It's summer time and the weather has been beautiful. We have been spending a lot of time at the whale pool with the cousins. We are so glad we live close so we can play together so much. The first time we went Britt wouldn't even put his toes in the water, but we went again and he got up to his knees. He still didn't want to get to far away from me, but was splashing. Next time I will have to wear my suit too and maybe we can get in even more.

Fishing

This weekend we went fishing with Daniel's family. No one caught any fish be we sure had fun talking, eating and just being outside. We have been trying to camp this summer and the weather has not been on our side so this was our first little camp out we have done this summer. But before to long the weather decided to get crummy on us. At least the rain was good for all the crops in the ground. We had such a beautiful sun set as the evening went on. We are so lucky to live in this beautiful place, and Daniel had to get a picture of the cool lines out there I don't really know what i am looking at but it sure is pretty.

weekend fun

This Memorial day weekend was kind of cold so mostly we stayed inside and got stuff done around the house. Then this weekend we had warmer weather so we were able to watch Michael and Emily's kids while they went out on a date. We enjoyed the warm weather while we had it. Then on Sunday we went out to my moms to have a BBQ it was so much fun to hung out outside in the warm weather and beautiful yard they have. We are so grateful for the warm weather and wonderful family's that we have.                                                                       

8 Months

It is crazy how fast the time has gone my sweet little baby is 8months old today and it getting so big. He is such a good boy and is always so happy if I could freeze time right now I would. Some of his favorite things to do is roll all over the house and when he reaches the kitchens hard floor he just pounds and pounds on it. He loves to be naked and loves anyone to play or talk to him. He also loves to play with is daddy and has a cool trick where he bridges from his head to his tip toes he will be one good wrestler. I am guessing he weighs close to 20 lbs and we love every roll he his. We love you Britt and we are so thankful that you are ours. We can't wait to see you keep growing.                                                

Moving cows

This weekend we moved cows from Christan and Jill's house to Jan and Stan's house. This is always so much fun, the kids got to ride the horses and play in the dirt. Us girls rode in the car with the babies, Britt look a good nap right at first. This is the first of many cattle drives to come, we hope all are as nice of a day as Saturday was. We are so lucky to live around family and help out when we can.

We have teeth

 Britt has teeth. He got his first tooth on April 15th and his second one on the 21st not even a week later. He was seven months exactly when they decided to come through. The bad teething nights were all put into one getting two teeth so close together which was nice. Britt loves his tooth brush and tooth paste and gets sad when it's time to put them ways.

I Can't Believe I Did It...

I can't believe I did it... today I cut 12 inches off my hair. I was so ready for a change Britt kept pulling on it so I just always wore it up. I have never had this short of hair before, but I think I am going to like it. Summer is coming and it's going to be so warm out. I am going to donate it to locks of love so I couldn't be sad because it was going to such a good cause.
