water fun

It was so hot out the other day we decided to go outside and play in the water to cool off. Britt wasn't so sure about the water first and thought it was too cold but then decided it was ok and had fun. After we were all done Ian and Britt got cleaned up in the tub. The boys really enjoyed playing together and splashing in the water.

9 months

Britt is now 9 months old and it is crazy how fast the time has gone. This last month has seams like he has gotten so big. Here is some of the things that has happened this month.

* 5/17 starts to army crawl everywhere and gets around pretty good.

* 5/21 Likes to do anything to make noise, he can click his tongue so loud

* 5/25 Drinks from a sippy with a straw he loves apple juice and bananas

* 6/1 poops in the tub for the first time mom loved cleaning that up

* 6/2 Starts rocking in his hands and knees

* 6/3 stands alone for about 1 min still a little wobbly

* 6/5 pulls himself up to mom and dad

* 6/11 gets stuck under the coffee table

* 6/ 13 pulls himself up to everything

* 6/14 starts crawling

* 6/19 walking with help

* 6/20 Stands in his crib

Britt also loves the bath tub and to go swimming at the whale pool he dosen't even want me to hold onto him. He also has two teeth on the bottom, and thats all so far.

His clicking is well known at church this is his favorite time to be noisy. We had to lower his crib because he could stand in it now. He likes to pull in the blinds once he gets stood up. Britt we love you so much and are so lucky to have you in our family, there is not longer a dole moment is the Asay house with Britt around. We love that growing and getting so big and doing so many new things. I can't wait to see what a wonderful young man you will grow into one day

Grandma Asay's Birthday

 We had a BBQ at the park for Grandma Asay's 96th birthday we had a lot of fun. I didn't even get a picture of the birthday girl but we sure celebrated. We love being together as family.

Summer time 2012

It's summer time and the weather has been beautiful. We have been spending a lot of time at the whale pool with the cousins. We are so glad we live close so we can play together so much. The first time we went Britt wouldn't even put his toes in the water, but we went again and he got up to his knees. He still didn't want to get to far away from me, but was splashing. Next time I will have to wear my suit too and maybe we can get in even more.

Fishing

This weekend we went fishing with Daniel's family. No one caught any fish be we sure had fun talking, eating and just being outside. We have been trying to camp this summer and the weather has not been on our side so this was our first little camp out we have done this summer. But before to long the weather decided to get crummy on us. At least the rain was good for all the crops in the ground. We had such a beautiful sun set as the evening went on. We are so lucky to live in this beautiful place, and Daniel had to get a picture of the cool lines out there I don't really know what i am looking at but it sure is pretty.

weekend fun

This Memorial day weekend was kind of cold so mostly we stayed inside and got stuff done around the house. Then this weekend we had warmer weather so we were able to watch Michael and Emily's kids while they went out on a date. We enjoyed the warm weather while we had it. Then on Sunday we went out to my moms to have a BBQ it was so much fun to hung out outside in the warm weather and beautiful yard they have. We are so grateful for the warm weather and wonderful family's that we have.
