We went to my moms and played side walk chalk and Britt actually colored a little. We are having so much fun this summer enjoying the nice weather. Cailey and the boy were over too so we got to spend some time with them. We are so grateful we live so close to family and get to spend so much time with them.

10 months

Britt is now 10 months old he is such a happy boy and so much fun to have around. Britt loves to climb onto everything and anything he can get on he will. He also got his first hair cut recently he did really good he had a sucker and was happy. Britt also would like to feed himself rather than have me feed him. Sometimes I just have to let him do it but it turns out with a bath after. Britt we love you so much and are getting so big so fast we are so glad you’re in our family.

We went up to the big horns fishing a while back for family home evening. The boys had good success and we took home a lot of fish.

Dry head 2012

 This weekend we went to Dry head to put the cows to there summer pasture the boys left the house at 6 am and the girls followed at about 8 am the boys made really good time and everything went pretty smoothly. When we caught back up with the boys we had a sandwich for lunch and Britt got to get onto the horse for the first time and he seamed to be OK with it and I am sure it wont to the last time. Britt had so much fun playing with his cousins and being outside. After we made it to our destination we had some hamburgers and some of us went for a hike up to a big rock, the kids thought that was pretty cool. Then we took some family pictures and grandma and grandpa with the grand kids that went but Ian was asleep so he wasn't in them. When we got home we had to go see the new baby colt that Annie had early that morning he was pretty cute.

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went out to Jan and Stan's and did some work with cows to get them ready for dry head that weekend, and then shot off some fireworks. The kids were so excited when it was time for the fireworks they had lots of fun with the sparklers. As it got darker then the bigger boys started having more fun. Britt didn't seam to mind all the loud nosies and the colorful fireworks. After all the fireworks we had some smores I was going to share mine with Britt but he got the marshmallow while me and Daniel were putting them together. He was so cute trying to figure out why his fingers were sticking together. It was an amazing 4th and we are so glad we got to spend it with family.

Camping 2012

We went up to the mountains just for the evening my mom and dad were already up there with Jaxen so we went up to get him and to hang out. It was nice to get out of the heat, we went on a rhino ride (which is Jaxen's favorite thing to do) and saw a moose I think it's always cool to see wild animals at a distance. We had dinner and sat around the camp fire and enjoyed the beautiful mountains. I knew Britt would want to be on the ground and into the dirt and I was right. I tried to keep everything out of him mouth and just let him play but he got a little dirt in there anyways. He was so dirty within an hour I was glad we were only staying a little while I could only imagine if we were there for days how dirty he would be.
